所以牆用霧面玻璃。你被圍起來，但看得見外面有光、有人走動——不是關起來，是被遮住。

走道盡頭不是牆，是一棵樹，底下鋪卵石，上面開了天井。坐上診療椅，你看的是那個方向。

緊張的時候，人需要的是一個可以望出去的地方。

Nobody wants to be at the dentist.

So the walls are frosted glass. You are enclosed, but you can still see light and movement on the other side — screened, not shut in.

The corridor does not end in a wall. It ends in a tree, standing on river stones under a skylight. From the chair, that is the direction you face.

When people are anxious, what they need is somewhere to look out to.
