這屋子沒有一盞燈是直接照人的。

光藏在層板下、藏在櫃子裡、藏在天花的溝縫。你看見的是被照亮的木頭，不是燈泡。

胡桃木從牆走到餐桌，石材只用在電視那一面。顏色少，層次都交給光。

照亮一個家，不必讓人看見光源。

Not one lamp here shines straight at you.

Light hides under shelves, inside cabinets, in the seams of the ceiling. What you see is lit timber, never a bulb.

Walnut runs from the walls to the dining table; stone appears only on the wall behind the television. Few colours — the depth is all done with light.

You can light a home without ever showing it where the light comes from.
