天花是一整片木條，從客廳一路鋪到餐廳的底。

沒有一道牆碰到它。電視牆只做到一半高，背面就是餐桌；氣氛從上面漫過去。

地板是淺的，家具是白的。深色全部收在頭頂那一片。

只要頂上不斷，房子就是一個房間。

The ceiling is one field of timber battens, laid from the living room to the far end of the dining.

No wall reaches it. The television wall stops at half height, with the dining table on its other side, and the atmosphere spills over the top.

The floor is pale, the furniture white. All the dark is kept overhead.

As long as the ceiling is unbroken, the house is one room.
