夜曲——整間房子定在同一個低音上。

天花、牆、櫃子都是深的，一層一層往上收。燈不往下照，只沿著書架的邊走。

夜裡沒有分間。沙發後面就是床，再過去是一方白色的廚房，像遠處亮著的一扇窗。

小不是問題。整齊地暗下來，房間就變深了。

夜曲, a nocturne — the whole flat held on one low note.

Ceiling, walls and cabinetry are all dark, stepping upward in layers. The light never points down; it runs along the edges of the shelves.

At night there are no separate rooms. Behind the sofa is the bed, and past that a small white kitchen, like a lit window seen from far off.

Small is not the problem. Dim it evenly and the room grows deeper.
