ON TOWN
Taiwan
Project story
Outside is the city. Inside has to be warm.
The ceiling is wrapped in timber, and the light travels along its edges rather than falling straight down. The walls are black slate, rough; the sofa is caramel leather, soft.
The lamp over the dining table opens its arms wide, as though someone were already waiting for you to sit.
The city is cold all day. The job of a house is to put the temperature back when you open the door.
